Amazing book! I have read a lot of books but this is definitely a five star one. Very intricate and never stops moving.

Started out beautifully, introduction promised the book would not follow a script as many do in this genre. Then it followed that script exactly. Same old story,with shallow characters and plot full of holes.

Awesome story. There were parts that I could put the book down. Excellent story!

I am so tired of authors, actors etc who feel they need to force their political views on those who just want to be entertained. A waste of obvious skills. I will not read this man’s work again.

One of the longest endings to any book I’ve ever read. Enough already!

I’m a Greg Isles fan. Initially found myself trying to fit in Isles Natchez bases characters into this story, but these characters fully stand by themselves. Background, people and a multi-faceted plot make this book hard to put dow.

A slog of a read. Good subject that dragged on with meaningless information that added nothing but pages. Political comments added nothing as well.

Greg Iles best novel. I’ve read them all. He’s every bit the equal of Grisham, Connelly, DeMille.

Just a great book. Well written and engaging. I love the Mississippi references. I am looking forward to reading more of Iles work.
