  • Excellent suspense story!

I really enjoyed this book. San Francisco is my hometown and though I no longer live there (or maybe BECAUSE I no longer live there) I savor books which use the City as the main setting for stories. I can usually picture each street and location mentioned; which enhances my enjoyment of the story. The one erroneous location mentioned in the book was Roosevelt - it was called a “high school” but in fact, Roosevelt is a Junior High! I know because it is the junior high I attended. The street name (Arguello) was correct and the only reason I noticed the mistake is because it was my school. Other than that one detail I thought the story was excellent! I plan to continue reading this series and will check out other books by this author.

Interesting mystery with awesome characters. The history seems accurate and the interplay with lead and other characters makes it one of the better mysteries I’ve read recently

I really do not like when there is woman kissing woman! I love the old fashioned love stories with a man and a woman!! Did not finish the book.

VANISHING IN THE HAIGHT is a captivating novel. Fast-paced with a gripping storyline and well-rounded characters, this book kept me turning the pages to see what happened next. Colleen Hayes is a great main character, and I'm looking forward to reading her future stories. Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book.
