This is a great story. This whole series keeps you on your toes and you’re dying for the next book, but you can also read each one as a stand alone without missing anything. I love the Easter eggs and cameos of characters from other books. The author takes time to go through issues instead of having everything presented and solved immediately. There are some steamy scenes, but nothing too much. *I received a complimentary review copy, but also paid for a copy.

This book may be the third in the Arrow Tactical series, but it can be read as a stand-alone, if readers have missed the first two. In fact, it took me an embarrassingly long amount of time to figure out I met Sophia as a teen in her dad’s story! Sophia and Damien are tagged to play a married couple during an undercover assignment, which is a bit uncomfortable considering he was part of her security force when she was in school. Not to mention, he’s hotter than sin, friends with her dad and almost a decade and a half older. All which makes for a very sexy read! But there’s some serious things going on as well, dating back to a teen trauma that Sophia suffered. It’s why she’s so driven. And Damien funds that irresistible. I loved this couple, the twisty storyline and the snappy and sexy dialogue. Isabel Jolie knocked this book out of the park!
