The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because I am not of fan of the Nick and Rachel plot line. It lacked a lot, especially in part 2. I just found myself wanted to skip their POVs. But overall worth the read. I’m diving into book 3 asap.

I am just halfway to the book and unfortunately i cannot finish it as i have to go to sleep. But so far i am very amused and happy with the story. Not a boring page yet...and i cant wait to finish it all tomorrow.

The narrator pronounced half the things wrong in French and English. She couldn’t pin one English accent down properly and it was too difficult to listen to. I couldn’t help but cringe when she would be in and out of an accent in a sentence and then say five things incorrectly. She even said a word in French wrong that the way she pronounced it meant something else with alarming meaning.
  • Easy and entertaining read

I actually like this sequel better than the first book in the trilogy. There was more action and drama in this book and I liked that it was a quick, easy read.

One of the best books I have ever read. The characters are developed so well that you truly feel empathy for them. Kevin Kwan does it again in this fantastic sequel that I believe to be better than the first one.

I loved the first book and this was a great follow up. I loved that Kitty stood up for herself in the end and Rachel’s read to Colette was epic.
