Accidentally Married

Accidents happen. So does marriage.

Struggling businessman Burke Carver can’t get Jill Armstrong out of his mind. She’s smart and intriguing, and a year ago they had a fun night at a conference—a night he can’t fully recall. With his company’s profits starting to slide, he knows he doesn’t have time for a relationship but he’s still tempted to look her up…

Only he won’t have to.

Jill Armstrong needs to talk to the handsome and brilliant CEO, Burke Carver. A year ago he made it clear he was happy to date her for an evening but not partner their businesses. Well, it seems they partnered more than they’d planned on because her bank just approved her latest business expansion loan—all because of her husband Burke’s stellar credit rating.

The problem is, neither of them remember their wedding but there’s a marriage certificate on file that has them and their business assets linked. Can these accidental “newlyweds” find a way to band together and strengthen their companies or will they miss out on the happily ever after fate may have tossed their way?

Indulge in this irresistible accidental marriage romance.

The Marriage Pledge

Sometimes platonic friends make the best spouses.

Years ago ex-lovers and coworkers Amy and Moe agreed on a marriage pledge—if they’re not married by thirty, the jaded duo will head down the aisle and start a family together.

And tomorrow Amy hits the big Three-Oh.

The problem is, neither of them can afford help from a fertility clinic which means they’re going to have to start their family the old-fashioned way.

Can the two friends withstand the pressures of baby-making as their minds begin to turn down avenues that are anything but platonic? And what will Amy do when she does the unthinkable and begins to fall for her husband of convenience?

Get swept up in this fun friends-as-spouses marriage of convenience sweet romance.

Mail Order Soulmate

Something borrowed, something (baby) blue…

Zach, a former international agent, orders everything from socks to groceries online. Including—after a spontaneous click of his mouse—his new bride. But when Catherine arrives on his step with a baby in her arms and a scared look in her eyes he's not sure if it's the situation or her past causing the fear. All he knows is that he's the man who can protect this small family.

Catherine needs to hide and she figures she's found her safe haven with Zach, a rugged, handsome man in charge of his own private security business. But will it become more than just shelter as the two build a home and life together? Or will the past come knocking and spoil everything they've strived to create?

Three book collection. I enjoyed all three books very much but I thought the Marriage Pledge was the standout. Recommend. 4.5
  • Three Marriages of Convenience in Blueberry Springs

This was a nice collection of three marriages of convenience that happened in the beginning of the story and didn’t start with happily every after. In Accidentally Married, Jill and Burke don’t remember eloping when they were drunk until she discovers she was able to get a loan based on her husband’s credit, a credit that he needed to expand his business. To say he isn’t happy is putting it mildly and he was quite the jerk to her in the beginning. They decide to temporarily stay married to help each other’s businesses. In the Marriage Pledge, Amy and Moe are best friends who decide to marry for convenience when she turns 30, so she can start a family. I could see the chemistry between them in Accidentally Married and I don’t know why they were denying their feelings were more than just friends. But their married relationship is also rocky to start as he’s a planner and she’s spontaneous and they have the added stress of problems happening at the pub where they both work and Moe was hoping to own. In Mail Order Soulmate, Catherine is on the run with her son when she agrees to a mail order bride arrangement with Zach. Zach orders a lot of things online when he’s drunk, but he can’t remember ordering a wife. He loves little Xavier like his own and quickly comes to care for Catherine too, but he has secrets of his own. There were a lot of funny, romantic, sweet, some eye rolling, and a few scary intense moments in this Blueberry Springs romance collection.

This has been such a fantastic series set in a little mountain town. These stories are more sexy (but still clean), suspenseful, and action-packed than the first set, but all are funny, romantic, and heart-rending. The characters are well done, as is the dialog. Wish could live in Blueberry Springs.

What a great set! I love all the Blueberry Springs books. The characters show up in all of the books, allowing you to feel connected to them long past their specific book. At the same time, each book holds its own as a stand alone book. The characters in these books are so relatable and fun! Jill and Burke in Accidentally Married- Jill is a small business owner, independent woman, but loves hard. Burke has built a huge business but is getting caught up in the money aspect. When they realize they accidentally got married, they want to cut things off, but then realize their marriage can help boost business. Amy and Moe in The Marriage Pledge- Amy is fun loving and hops back and forth between nurse and bartender as the mood hits. Moe is good ole dependable bartender/manager. The best of friends get married to fulfill a pact that they made, saying they would marry each other if they were single when she turned 30. They are so much more than just friends! Catherine and Zach in Mail Order Soulmate- Catherine is on the run from her past. Zach is a retired spy just looking for love on drunken online shopping sprees. They both have to work past trust issues to let love in. The suspense aspect to this book is really fun!
